- ****City of San Antonio: Economic Impact of Preservation****
A local study on the economic and social benefits of historic preservation was a recommended action in the Strategic Historic Preservation Plan. In 2015, OHP released Historic Preservation: Essential to the Economy and Quality of Life in San Antonio. Don Rypkema of PlaceEconomics prepared the study which is based around the SA2020 vision for San Antonio. Historic preservation not only makes economic sense. It builds strong, vibrant communities! - Buildings Lost to Hemisfair
