The 2024 Grant Application Window is OPEN!
BACKGROUND
The King William Association (KWA) promotes the welfare of the King William neighborhood by preserving the historic and residential nature of the neighborhood and fostering educational, recreational, and cultural activities. At the discretion of the board of directors, KWA provides grants to schools and other organizations serving the King William neighborhood and its residents. Since 2001, more than $500,000 has been granted.
SCOPE
Grants are awarded on an annual basis dependent on the KWA budget. There is no minimum or maximum amount, but grants generally do not exceed $5,000. For 2024 there was $68,700 in grant funds available.
Working to meet the goals of KWA, grants may be used for a variety of purposes including program support, physical projects, or program development.
