Personal statement: We love King William, the community, the fair, parade, neighborhood and historic atmosphere and traditions. I want to help keep the neighborhood safe, as free of crime as possible, and its walls clean of graffiti. I have learned that tagging left on is an invitation for more tagging, and tagged walls are a clear sign of neighborhood degradation and a signal to the criminal element that we don’t care. It does take a neighborhood, and I will work to get the neighborhood involved in keeping us safe, keeping our events (including First Friday) family oriented, enjoyable for participants and residents alike.
